Workplace Mentoring

Workplace Mentoring is a proven approach used to enhance the skills, knowledge, talents and potential of individuals as part of an organisational learning and development strategy. It is an approach that is particularly applicable to those working with Apprentices, Graduates or new employees and can be used in a wide range of work contexts. This short course explores the principles and practices of mentoring, and develops the skills needed to be an effective workplace mentor

Who should attend?

This course is designed for leaders and managers who wish to develop effective performance coaching and mentoring skills and will be particularly helpful for managers of apprentices, graduates and new employees in the workplace. Participants need to be able to practice the key concepts of mentoring in the workplace or in a suitable voluntary role.
