POSSIBILITIES IN EVERY DIRECTION AT THE NATIONAL COLLEGE FOR ADVANCED TRANSPORT & INFRASTRUCTURE OPEN DAYS
The National College for Advanced Transport & Infrastructure is hosting an Open Day on Wednesday the 12th February 2020 to give future students the chance to learn about courses that are designed to prepare them for a career in rail, transport and infrastructure.
NCATI is a new type of 18+ college that has opened in Birmingham and Doncaster. We have been set up to give people the skills and knowledge needed to work in the rail, transport and infrastructure industry.
We are dedicated to inspiring and creating a new generation of skilled workers to join the fast-growing rail, transport and infrastructure industry where specialist skills in areas such as civil engineering, systems engineering and digital design are in high demand.
These skills are needed to deliver major infrastructure projects now such as HS2, highways improvements, airport expansions and upgrades to the existing railway.
The event is the perfect opportunity to get on track for a new career and to find out more about the higher education full-time courses and Access to Higher Education courses available for learners aged 18 and over. Visitors will also be able to tour the state-of-the-art facilities, experience the specialist learning equipment such as VR/AR, CAD/CAM, and even hop on board a former Eurostar power car, as well as having the opportunity to speak to curriculum staff and attend a Q&A session with current students.
Employers from the industry such as Amey, WSP and Bechtel who work closely with the college, will also be presenting on the day so you can gain a real insight into the industry and find out about the career opportunities available.
