Birmingham & Doncaster Campus Open Days
POSSIBILITIES IN EVERY DIRECTION AT THE NATIONAL COLLEGE FOR ADVANCED TRANSPORT & INFRASTRUCTURE OPEN DAYS
The National College for Advanced Transport & Infrastructure hosts Open Days at the Birmingham and Doncaster campuses several times throughout the academic year.
We are dedicated to inspiring and creating a new generation of skilled workers to join the fast-growing rail, transport and infrastructure industry where specialist skills in areas such as civil engineering, systems engineering and digital design are in high demand.
These skills are needed to deliver major infrastructure projects now such as HS2, highways improvements, airport expansions and upgrades to the existing railway – and into the future. There really are POSSIBILITIES IN EVERY DIRECTION!

My biggest achievement so far has been securing an apprenticeship with Balfour Beatty from my first interview, especially as I was the first female on the course and had little knowledge of the industry when starting.
Every day is different - there are days that are challenging and there are times where I have the chance to reflect upon the skills I have gained and apply them in real-world environments.
My experience at the National College for High Speed Rail so far has broadened my knowledge within engineering especially the rail industry. I enjoy going on the site and finding out how other companies are involved within the new High Speed Rail project.
